Methods of making music by using Cakewalk Pro Audio 9.0/Cakewalk Sonar:
1. For easy music-making, you must first make the right choice of tempo according to your chosen type of song.
2. Open the Cakewalk Pro Audio/Sonar in your computer. Get ready… choose the type of music beat that you want to create (this is to make the song’s music and not style).
3. You will see the little boxes on top of your computer screen and go find tempo. Click on the tempo and change it according to the type of beat of your choice (e.g. for ballad song, choose tempo 68).
4. To make the process easy, you can first do the drum making process. Choose the instruments in the drum section that are required, e.g. snare, tom- tom, hi-hat and kick drum.
5. Look for ‘patch’ section. Click that section and choose instrument.
6. In one bar, create that drum beat. There are 5 measures in one bar. Create drum beat in one bar only.
7. After you are done with that one bar, copy and paste next to the bar that has been created. Proceed to multiply the drum using this copy and paste method.
